About me

I received my first camera for my 14th birthday, but never progressed beyond taking holiday snaps until about 6 years ago. It was then that I decided it was about time I learned more about using a camera other than pointing it in the right direction and pressing the shutter release.

After following evening classes in photography, I knew I would only be able to start making better images if I did it more often. I decided to book my first photography holiday and I have been hooked ever since.

I focus mainly on landscape photography as I love being outdoors and capturing the landscape's many different and continually changing facets. This continual change is also why I'm especially drawn to the water's edge. Of course, having been born and raised on the water - my parents live on a houseboat and are keen sailors – may have something to do with that too.
